Vanglobe Matrix Changes its Name to Matrix Polymers
Vanglobe Matrix, operating in Australia and New Zealand, is changing its name to Matrix Polymers. This will fully align the Company with the Group’s international rotational moulding powders business, which is known outside Australia and New Zealand as Matrix Polymers. There will now be one global brand – Matrix Polymers.
This change will encourage the sharing of the Group’s knowledge, technical expertise and company resources for the benefit of customers in Australia and New Zealand. Additionally, integrated Group sourcing of materials will expand the range of available products and provide greater security of supply.
The name change follows on from the company’s acquisition of the operations and business of Hills Polymers in Adelaide South Australia, which has recently been announced. This expansion provides extra manufacturing capacity and capabilities and enables Matrix Polymers to better serve the South Australian, Victorian and New South Wales markets.
Martin Coles, Group Chairman said, “We have an ambitious three year growth plan to become a truly global rotomoulding materials business. We are passionate about rotational moulding materials and are continually looking for opportunities to enhance our position and further support the industry.”
Peter Zlattinger, CEO added “We believe in the long term future of the Australian and New Zealand markets and where others have pulled out we are continuing to invest. We have an outstanding team of people and with the Hills acquisition Matrix Polymers will be the largest rotational moulding powder supplier in Australia and New Zealand.”
